1) Choose any listening materials in Japanese (Movies, Anime, Song, Drama, Youtube Video, Quiz Show, TV commercial, Game, Radio Program, etc.). As far as you listen to にほんご(Japanese),  any genres and/or length are fine, such as 2-hr movie and 5-min videoclip. You may listen to more than one material with or without subtitles. 

2) Fill out the googleform about your listening/viewing activities. We want to ask you to submit a form for each instance of listening material, so some of you may need to submit multiple forms (once per listening activity). Please write in えいご (English).

みなさん、金曜日に「ゆるキャラ」についてのしゅくだい (WB2 p. 91)を だしましたね。さくぶん (essay)とイラストは、とてもおもしろいですから、ぜひ、みなさんのゆるキャラのアイデアをかいてください。Please share your ゆるキャラ by describing it in detail. 
You can scan your illustration on WB p. 91, but do not scan your handwritten essay. Please revise the original essay and then type it on your blog.

 みなさん、ふゆ (winter) やすみは どうでしたか?

私は日本(にほん)のうちにかえって、かぞくやともだちとあって、とてもよかったですよ。いろいろりょこうもしました。日本はあたたかかったから(warm)、よく外でともだちとあそびました。日本のたべものは、とてもおいしかったですが、サウスベンドから日本までひこうきで13じかんぐらいかかって、つかれました(got tired)。そして、かぜ(cold)をひいてしまいました。

HOW TO OPEN YOUR BLOG ACCOUNT

 If you are new to this course, please create your own blog site. In order to open a new blog account, please follow the instructions. 

(Students who were in Year 1 I or Elementary II in FA25 should ignore the following instructions).

1. Go to http://www.blogger.com to create your blog. 
  • For those who do not want to use their real names, it is totally fine to use a pseudonym. 
  • In order to receive comments from as many people as possible, please select "Settings," then "Comments," and choose "Users with Google Accounts" under the "Who can comment?" section.
  • If you want to know how to type Japanese, please click the link listed on the left side.
2. Please e-mail your blog URL to: Hanabusa.1@nd.edu.
    DUE: Wednesday, January 14. 

3. Try making your blog site more personal, by putting a unique name, changing background, design, layout, etc. 
  • If you have trouble opening a new account, please let the instructors know.
  • If you already have a blog and you can use Japanese on it, you do not have to open a new account.
